It's almost Thanksgiving and you know what that means? Black Friday. Shopping all day! I fully intend to melt my credit card this year. Who else is excited about shopping?

Well that was fun. I guess it could have been worse. You can bet I'll be watching to make sure we know exactly when they're coming back.
I'm not sure I want to go to homecoming this year. I'll need to request permission for Jasper to come with me. I'm not really worried about that. I know a flashy smile and sweet tone will get them to let him come. I'm just not sure I want to go. I feel I should be focusing on more important things. I haven't even looked at dresses and it's what, a few weeks away?
But even if I'm not there, Bella, that doesn't mean you're not going in a new dress.

I'm sorry.
I swear, I saw it happen right before the announcement was made. Before I could react, it was made known that the Volturi would be coming. I don't like being caught off guard like that. I feel very uneasy about it, but for now all I can see is that they want to investigate the murders occurring in Seattle and to see if they need to step in and take care of the situation themselves. It.. is unclear to me if they have other motives beyond saying hello to Dad when they stop in.
But I think that given they can change their minds on a moment's notice, it would be unwise not to be prepared for anything. Are they aware of our treaty with the Wolves? Do they even know that we have Wolves here? Isn't one of them particularly bitter about them? I feel like Dad has probably mentioned that before. Should we make the Wolves privy to this? I need answers if I'm going to see things clearly.
Edward, please decide whether or not you're going to tell Bella about this now or later, so I can see more of how this is going to play out.
I won't let them out of my sight.

So, I'm sure all of you have noticed that I've been turning the house upside down over the last few days. This is because Bella's birthday is on Sunday. Naturally she is going to be opposed to me throwing her a party on her birthday soooo, we're having a party on Saturday instead. No excuses. You're all expected to be there! This is very important. I've managed to get Renee and Phil to fly in for the party so it's imperative that we're all on our best behavior.
PS: I'm inviting Jacob Black. Don't hate me.

I am perfectly aware of the time of year, but I would just like to point out that it's never too early to shop for Christmas presents. If anyone needs any ideas of what to get me, I would very much like a car this year. Of course I'm mostly looking, winking, and nudging at Mom and Daddy for this one. I also realize this is a pretty extravagant gift. I certainly do not mind paying for it. However, it would look strange for someone like me to walk into a car dealership and pay for a car. I look a little young for that.
Hear me out!
I like riding to school with Edward and all, but it would be so much more convenient for me to drive myself so I could go shopping or do what I wanted to do, or if Edward wanted to go hang out with Bella at her house or whatever, I could just go home and he wouldn't have to make an extra stop. As for you, my darling brothers and sister. Me having my own car would mean that I wouldn't have to steal borrow your cars. As you all know, I am not exactly as tall as the rest of you so I have to move the seat up and I am notorious about forgetting to move it back which could definitely lead to you banging your knees on your steering wheels. Me having my own car would definitely lessen the risk of you denting your steering wheels.
Soooooo, just throwing that idea out there if come December any of you are having any trouble with some last minute gift ideas for adorable little Alice.

Back to school shopping! Time is running out and there are all sorts of sales right now. Bella, you have already succumbed to your fate of shopping with me. Edward and Jasper, you need to come with us because obviously we're not going to carry everything ourselves and I don't have a car. So, I figure we're going to need several new outfits, especially for fall and it couldn't hurt to get some new winter accessories while they're new.
Don't let me forget to pick up a new scarf for Dad!

I've been watching the weather, but I keep seeing sunny, clear days. Lots of indoor time for us, I'm afraid. Why don't we bust out some old home movies on the flat screen? I had them all converted to DVDs last year. We can make fun of Edward in the 70's. Oh! And we can have board game marathons. Don't get on my case about cheating. Edward's way worse than I am about that. Battleship might not be a good game, admittedly, but there are plenty of others!
